Khalid releases the new video for ‘Present’

Khalid has released the video for “Present,” directed by Scheme E.

“Present,” which was released in October, is one of nine tracks on the 23-year-old Khalid’s EP Scenic Drive which dropped last Friday. The project will also feature contributions from Alicia Keys, Majid Jordan, Ari Lennox, Smino, Kiana Ledé, Quin, Lucky Daye, and 6lack. Scenic Drive marks Khalid’s first studio project since his 2019 album, Free Spirit.

Jennifer Aniston, Kathryn Hahn, Gabrielle Union and more to join ‘Facts of Life’ special for ABC

Jimmy Kimmel announced on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that Jennifer Aniston, Kathryn Hahn, Gabrielle Union and Allison Tolman will play ‘Facts of Life’ characters in the new special Live in Front of a Studio Audience. ABC previously aired Live in Front of a Studio Audience specials that recreated episodes of All in the Family, The Jeffersons and Good Times.

The special will feature characters from Facts of Life and Diff’rent Strokes. Aniston will play Blair (originally played by Lisa Whelchel), with Union as Tootie (Kim Fields), Hahn as Jo (Nancy McKeon) and Tolman as Natalie (Mindy Cohn). Ann Dowd was previously announced as Mrs. Garrett (Charlotte Rae), and  John Lithgow will play the Diff’rent Strokes character Mr. Drummond (Conrad Bain), with Kevin Hart as Arnold (Gary Coleman) and Damon Wayans as Willis (Todd Bridges).

Diff’rent Strokes was created by Jeff Harris and Bernie Kukoff and had an eight-season run from 1978 to 1986. The Facts of Life was created by Dick Clair and Jenna McMahon and aired for nine seasons from 1979 to 1988.

The new special will air Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC, and stream on Hulu the next day.

‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ Season 4 coming in February to Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video announced that ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ will return for a fourth season in February 2022, and shared a release date (Feb. 18th) as well as a teaser for the season. Amazon also shared a poster for Season 4 on social media with the tagline “We’re just getting started.”

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel follows Miriam “Midge” Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan), a housewife who decides to pursue stand-up comedy in the late 1950s. Season 4 takes place in 1960, and an official description reads: “Looking to hone her act, Midge finds a gig with total creative freedom. But her commitment to her craft — and the places it takes her — creates a rift between her and the family and friends around her.”

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and co-stars Alex Borstein, Michael Zegen, Marin Hinkle and Tony Shalhoub. Gilmore Girls alum Kelly Bishop has joined the cast for Season 4.

Roddy Ricch reveals ‘LIVE LIFE FAST’ album release date and cover art

Nearly two years to the day after the release of his chart-topping debut Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial, Roddy Ricch has announced that his highly-anticipated follow-up, Live Life Fast, will drop on December 17. Live Life Fast is rumored to contain 18 tracks with a running time of 51 minutes.

Roddy wrote on Instagram while sharing the album’s official cover art:“livelifefast 12/17 spread the word”

50 Cent teams up with Lil Durk and Jeremih for the “Power Book V: Force” theme song

50 Cent will release a theme song for his next show “Power Book V: Force” which will showcase the story of Tommy Egan.

50 took to his social media to announce the song, which is a collaboration with Lil Durk and Jeremih. “Ok the FORCE theme song is done. Me @lildurk and @jeremih coming soon,” he wrote. “BOOM! Chi-Town vibes. GreenLightGang.”  The release date for the track is yet to be announced, but the series is expected to kick-off at the start of February.

See the trailer for the Sex and the City revival ‘And Just Like That…’

HBO Max’s new trailer for “And Just Like That…”, the revival of “Sex and the City,” reveals where Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and the rest of her friends are more than 11 years after we last saw them in the movie “Sex and the City 2.”  “Sex and the City” ran for six seasons on HBO from 1998 to 2004, based on Candace Bushnell’s 1996 book of the same title.

Along with Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon have returned to their roles as Charlotte and Miranda, respectively.  Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler and Willie Garson (who passed away in September) also reprise their past roles.  Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker and Karen Pittman have also been added to the cast.

The 10-episode season of And Just Like That… will premiere on HBO Max on Dec. 9 with two episodes, and will then air weekly on Thursdays through Feb. 3. Take a look at the trailer – here.

T-Pain drops his latest single “Shootin’ Up The Club”

T-Pain has released a brand new song called “Shootin’ Up The Club” and posted about the song on Instagram, along with the caption: “I somehow made the sandwich more disturbing. Look a little closer. But yea. MIDNIGHT!!!! #ShootinUpTheClub #StandUpInIt”

The single is self-produced and released through Nappy Boy Entertainment / EMPIRE, and is the follow-up his previous offering “I’m Cool With That“. T-Pain also recently teamed up with BIA and Kehlani for the remix of his song “I Like That“.

Fetty Wap releases new song and video for ‘First Day Out’ following his release from jail

Fetty Wap has released a new song called ‘First Day Out’ to celebrate his release from jail after recent arrest on drug charges. Fetty was arrested at Citi Field in Queens at the Rolling Loud music festival in New York end of October.

Six members of a drug distribution ring including Fetty were charged with dealing heroin and fentanyl during the period of June 2019 and June 2020. A week following the arrest, Fetty posted a $500,000 bond after a hearing in Long Island federal court and agreed to surrender his passport, and submit to drug testing and GPS monitoring as conditions of his release.

Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett’s ‘MTV Unplugged’ to premiere Dec. 16

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett will perform together as part of a new installment of MTV Unplugged, which will premiere on Dec. 16 at 9 p.m. EST. The duo will perform stripped down versions of songs from their latest collaborative album Love for Sale, which was released in September.  The episode featuring Gaga and Bennett was filmed earlier this year in New York City in front of an intimate audience.

MTV Unplugged returns during MTV’s month long ‘Love Music with MTV’ event which celebrates the brand’s top music shows and moments. Gaga and Bennett’s MTV Unplugged is their second planned special after the pair starred in CBS’ One Last Time: An Evening with Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett.  A third special, a documentary titled The Lady and the Legend, is set to arrive on Paramount+ at a later date.

Love for Sale was nominated for Album of the Year at the 64th annual Grammy Awards. The album marks Bennett’s final studio album after the music legend announced that he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2016.

Miley Cyrus & Pete Davidson to host NBC’s “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party”

NBC has announced that Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, hosted By Miley Cyrus and Pete Davidson, is set to air live on NBC from Miami, FL on Friday, December 31 from 10:30pm-12:30am ET, and will also be live-streamed on Peacock.  Saturday Night Live exec producer Lorne Michaels will executive produce the show, with the network promising “a star-studded lineup of special guests and musical performances for a must watch evening” to be determiend at a later date.  Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party succeeds NBC’s New Year’s Eve special, hosted and produced by Carson Daly, which aired on the network from 2004 until last year.

Jen Neal, Executive Vice President, Live Events, Specials and E! News, NBCUniversal, said: “In what is sure to be an exciting and fun evening, we are looking forward to partnering with Lorne Michaels and ringing in 2022 with a night of incredible entertainment, led by Miley and Pete.”

Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party will air live on NBC and Peacock beginning at 10:30 p.m. ET on Friday, Dec. 31st.
