Documentary about Pamela Anderson coming to Netflix
Pamela Anderson is telling her story in a new documentary about her life, set to air on Netflix. The documentary film — dubbed the “definitive documentary about the pop culture icon” — has been in the making for several years. A Netflix statement said the documentary film will provide “an intimate portrait embedded in the life of Pamela Anderson as she looks back at her professional and personal path and prepares for the next steps on her journey.”
Netflix also posted on Twitter: “Pamela Anderson is ready to tell her story in a new documentary. The film, which has been in the making for several years, will feature the pop culture icon setting the record straight as she looks back on her professional path and her personal journey.” The post also included a picture of a handwritten note, written by Anderson on Netflix letterhead, which reads: “My life/ A thousand imperfections/ A million misperceptions/ Wicked, wild and lost/ Nothing to live up to /I can only surprise you /Not a victim, but a survivor /And alive to tell the real story.”
The yet-to-be-titled film is directed by Ryan White (“The Keepers,” “Ask Dr. Ruth”), and features exclusive access to Anderson, as well as archival footage and her personal journals. Anderson’s son Brandon Thomas Lee, who serves as a producer on the project, reposted his mother’s note on his Instagram story, emphasizing the phrase, “The real story” — as did Anderson’s younger son, Dylan Jagger Lee.

Travis Scott announces safety initiative ‘Project HEAL’ in response to Astroworld tragedy
Four months after the tragedy at Travis Scott’s Astroworld left 10 festival attendees dead, Scott has announced Project HEAL, a new philanthropic initiative launched in conjunction with Scott’s Cactus Jack Foundation that aims to “make all events the safest spaces they can possibly be.”
Project HEAL is described as “a multi-tier initiative dedicated to addressing challenges facing today’s youth, especially those from marginalized and at-risk communities.” The project is broken down into four main initiatives: the Waymon Webster HBCU Scholarship Fund, which provides $1 million scholarships to financially disadvantaged HBCU students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher; the expansion of CACT.US Youth Design Center, a workspace in Houston where artists in low-income communities can hone their design skills; mental health resources, including a free crisis hotline; and the US Conference of Mayors and Tech-driven Solutions for Event Safety, which will bring together major stakeholders to work together in improving the safety of large-scale events.
Scott has made a multi-million dollar commitment to Project HEAL, and will also dedicate a portion of proceeds from his upcoming product launches to the organization. Scott wrote on Instagram: “Over the past few months I’ve been taking the time and space to grieve, reflect and do my part to heal my community. Most importantly, I want to use my resources and platform moving forward towards actionable change. This will be a lifelong journey for me and my family. I created Project HEAL to take much needed action towards supporting real solutions that make all events the safest spaces they can possibly be. I will always honor the victims of the Astroworld tragedy who remain in my heart forever.”

Kanye West shares poems on Instagram, releases “Hurricane” video featuring The Weeknd and Lil Baby
Just days after he shared a poem titled “Divorce” on his Instagram page, Kanye West posted a poem entitled “DEAD” on IG.
Ye elaborated on his intention behind the piece:“I feel already compromised that I have to justify my expression after over 20 years of art that I’ve contributed to the planet but I also see the need to make sure we as a species are allowed to still feel anything. Men not allowed to cry celebrities not allowed to cry I will not explain this new piece for the explanation destroys the mystery and magic of true love and puts it in a box that can be counted. Art is subjective Art only works when it is the artist absolute truth Someone’s truth can be another persons lie. We don’t all have to feel the same because we are not the same With out further ado I present to you my latest creation it is called DEAD.” The poem also includes a reference to West and Kim Kardashian’s kids.
On the same day he shared the “DEAD” poem, Kanye released the video for “Hurricane” featuring Lil Baby and The Weeknd, from his 2021 album Donda. You can take a look at the video for “Hurricane” – here.
