Atlanta rapper Lil Keed, signed to Young Thug’s YSL Records, dies at age 24
Atlanta rapper Lil Keed, signed to Young Thug’s YSL Records, has died at the age of 24. Keed’s brother Lil Gotit first announced on social media that the rapper – born Raqhid Render — had died. He wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the two brothers: “Can’t believe I seened u die today bro I did all my cries.” No cause of death was provided.
Lil Keed came out of the Atlanta hip-hop scene beginning in 2018 thanks to his mixtapes including Keed Talk to ‘Em and his Trapped in Cleveland series. The following year, after signing with YSL Records, Lil Keed released his debut album Long Live Mexico, featuring artists like Young Thung, Roddy Ricch, Moneybagg Yo, and Gunna. In 2020, Lil Keed teamed with his brother Lil Gotit, Lil Yachty and Zaytoven for their collaborative mixtape A-Team. In addition to this own albums and mixtapes, Lil Keed also featured on tracks by Lil Yachty, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Nav and Trippie Redd.
Lil Keed’s death comes just days after federal prosecutors filed a 56-count RICO indictment against Young Stoner/Slime Life (YSL) Records, including the label’s co-founder Young Thug and fellow YSL rapper Gunna; Lil Keed was not among the 28 people named in the indictment.

Kelly Osbourne announces she is pregnant with her first child
Kelly Osbourne took to social media to share the exciting news that she is pregnant and expecting her first child. The 37-year-old Osbourne shared the news on Instagram alongside a selfie of her holding an ultrasound photo and the caption: “I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why… I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma. To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic! .”
Osbourne did not share more details about the pregnancy or who the father is, but she recently spoke out about her relationship with Sidney George Wilson on Instagram, saying: “After 23 years of friendship I can’t believe where we have ended up! You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you Sidney George Wilson.” However, Sid seemed to confirm they’re expecting together when he shared a photo of a sonogram about 30 minutes after Kelly posted the pregnancy news, captioning it with heart and family emojis: .
Kelly’s mom, Sharon Osbourne, also re-posted Kelly’s announcement to her Instagram page with the caption: “My could not be more full! So excited to share the beautiful journey ahead with you @kellyosbourne”

DaBaby drops two new songs: ‘Wig’ featuring Moneybagg Yo and ‘Bonnet’ featuring Pooh Shiesty
DaBaby has returned with two new songs, featuring Moneybagg Yo & Pooh Shiesty.
The first track is titled “Wig,” which features assistance from Moneybagg Yo and production from ATL Jacob. The second offering is a collaboration with Pooh Shiesty, which is titled “Bonnet”.

Gunna and Young Thug both denied bond on racketeering charges
Gunna and Young Thug have been denied bail following their arrests on racketeering charges. Both Young Thug and Gunna’s requests for bond were rejected during their hearings before a judge. The two rappers are among the 28 people named in the Fulton County district attorney’s indictment for conspiring to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.
Gunna, born Sergio Kitchens, was hit with a RICO charge but is also accused of criminal street gang activity, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, hydrocodone and marijuana, and theft by receiving stolen property, according to the news outlet.
Thug, born Jeffery Lamar Williams, is facing seven additional felony charges on drugs and weapons possession after police raided his home on Monday (May 9). Thug’s felony charges include Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute; Possession Of Sawed-Off Shotgun, Sawed-Off Rifle, Machine Gun, dangerous Weapon, Or Silencer; and three separate charges of Unlawful For Person Employed By/Associated With Criminal Street Gang To Conduct/Participate In Criminal Activity.
Both Thug and Gunna will remain in custody at the Fulton County jail until further notice.

2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards nominations announced: See the full list of nominees
MTV announced the nominees for the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards with Spider-Man: No Way Home and Euphoria leading the pack with seven nominations each. MTV also announced that this year’s event would combine the MTV Movie & TV Awards with its recent spinoff, the all-reality “Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted,” into a one-night event to air live on Sunday, June 5. The ceremony will air at 8 p.m. EDT from the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica. The show’s hosts, performers, presenters and other details will be announced at a later date.
The Best Movie category also includes Dune, Scream 5, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Adam Project and The Batman. Euphoria is nominated for Best Show, Best Performance in a Show for Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney, Best Kiss for Hunter Schafer and Dominic Fike, Best Fight for Cassie vs. Maddy, Here for the Hookup and Best Song for “Little Star” by Fike.
The Best Show category also includes Inventing Anna, Loki, Squid Game, Ted Lasso and YellowstoneRuPaul’s Drag Race earned a leading four nominations including Best Competition Series, Best Reality Star for Willow Pill, Best Host for RuPaul and Best Fight for Bosco vs. Lady Camden.
The awards show’s categories continue to be gender-neutral, and most movie/TV categories have been merged. Fans can vote across 26 categories starting May 11 and through May 18 at 6 p.m. ET on vote.mtv.com.

‘Jackass’ series reboot in the works at Paramount+
Variety reports that Paramount+ is developing a ‘Jackass’ reboot, along with the show’s original creators. The announcement comes shortly after the success of Jackass Forever, the fourth movie in the Jackass film series which opened in theaters in February. Paramount global CEO Bob Bakish said: “Based off the success of Jackass Forever, we’re working with the creators to continue the partnership with a new series, bringing even more ridiculous antics straight to Paramount+”.
The Jackass franchise was created by Jeff Tremaine, Spike Jonze and Johnny Knoxville; the original show aired on MTV from 2000 to 2001 and was followed by the film series. Jackass features Knoxville, Chris Pontius, Steve-O, Dave England, Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, Ehren McGhehey and Preston Lacy, and follows the cast as they perform stunts and pranks. As of press time, it was not revealed if the original cast members will appear in the Paramount+ series.

Meg Ryan and David Duchovny to star in romantic-comedy ‘What Happens Later’
Meg Ryan shared on social media that she and David Duchovny will star in the new romantic comedy ‘What Happens Later’.
What Happens Later is based on the Steven Dietz play ‘Shooting Star.’ Dietz wrote the screenplay, along with Ryan and Kirk Lynn. Ryan, 60, will also direct the film, which will begin production in Bentonville, Ark., later this year. The film is planning a 2023 theatrical release.
What Happens Later follows Willa (Ryan) and Bill (Duchovny), two ex-lovers who reunite for the first time since their split decades prior when they both are snowed in at an airport overnight. ” An official synopsis reads: “All each of them wants is to get home but over the course of the night they find themselves at first reluctantly drawn together yet compelled to revisit their past, along with what could have been and what might well be again. But when the versions of their shared history don’t quite add up, where do they go from there?”

Jack Harlow announces ‘Come Home the Kids Miss You’ tour with support from City Girls
Following the release of his sophomore album ‘Come Home The Kids Miss You,’ Jack Harlow announced on social media a 22-date North American tour. City Girls will join Harlow for the entirety of the tour, except for one date at Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway.
The Come Home the Kids Miss You tour is set to launch on Sept. 6 with an opening show in Tennessee at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium, and will wrap up on Oct. 16 at Atlanta, Georgia’s State Farm Arena.

2022 Austin City Limits Festival lineup to feature headliners Lil Nas X, Pink, SZA and more
Austin City Limits has revealed its 2022 lineup, which will place over two weekends, Oct. 7-9 and Oct. 14-16 at Zilker Park in downtown Austin, Texas. Founded in 2002, the Austin City Limits Music Festival was inspired by the TV show Austin City Limits and was originally a one-weekend event until 2013, when it expanded to two weekends.
This year’s lineup includes a wide range of headliners including Lil Nas X, SZA, Flume, Kacey Musgraves, Paramore, the Chicks, Pink, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
The ACL lineup also features Lil Durk, Jazmine Sullivan, Bia, James Blake, Lucky Daye, Omar Apollo, Sabrina Claudio, PinkPantheress, Teezo Touchdown, Tobe Nwigwe, Carly Rae Jepsen, Muna Yungblud, Phoenix, The Front Bottoms, Manchester Orchestra, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, The War on Drugs, and Lars Ulrich’s son’s band, Taipei Houston and many more.

Season 4 of ‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction’ with David Letterman to feature Will Smith, Cardi B, Billie Eilish and more
Netflix announced a list of guests for the upcoming fourth season of the talk show My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, set to premiere May 20th.
The six-episode Season 4 will feature Will Smith, Cardi B, Billie Eilish, Ryan Reynolds, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Kevin Durant. Smith’s episode was filmed before the incident at this year’s Oscars, where Smith slapped Chris Rock onstage.
My Next Guest Needs No Introduction premiered in 2018, and is Letterman’s first series since his retirement from the Late Show in 2015. Previous guests include Kim Kardashian, Robert Downey Jr., Dave Chappelle, Lizzo, Kanye West, George Clooney and president Barack Obama.
