Ab-Soul surprise dropped a new verse on a track originally featuring J. Cole and Daylyt. The extended version of “Collard Greens” runs over five minutes and builds on their earlier joint effort, originally released as “A Plate Of Collard Greens” in September 2024.

The new rendition is mostly driven by the original performances from Cole and Daylyt, with Ab-Soul closing the record with a technically sharp and energetic verse. In his bars, he shows admiration for Cole’s pen while also delivering a playful reference aimed at Kendrick Lamar.

Ab-Soul has been sharing several loose tracks on Instagram lately, and this remix, titled “Collard Greens (11.11.23)”, stands out as one of his stronger recent drops. The song, which was initially available on YouTube and never received an official streaming release, can only be found online there for now.

Although an official distribution is uncertain, fans remain hopeful that the momentum surrounding J. Cole’s The Fall Off era releases might eventually bring the track to major platforms. For listeners, the record highlights the strong lyrical chemistry and detailed writing style shared by the three MCs, and many are eager to hear more future collaborations from the trio.
