A guy in New York set up a high-stakes Super Bowl Squares pool this year to scam people, and used fake names for most of the squares to up his chances of winning. But then real people won all the money, and he was on the hook for 50 grand. So he staged his own kidnapping to make it look like the money was stolen. He’s facing fraud charges.
