Thomas Taylor has been sentenced to 18 months in federal prison for stealing $492,000 worth of Amazon gift cards. He worked for an online polling company that gave Amazon gift cards to people, who completed their surveys. A judge demanded Taylor liquidate his home, his retirement fun, his banking accounts, and other valuables in order to pay back his former employer.
