A Florida man told cops he wasn’t drinking WHILE driving. He waited til his car was halted at stop signs before taking swigs of whiskey. Earle Gustavas Stevens, 69, was allegedly wasted when his car tapped another in the drive-through lane of a Vero Beach McDonald’s in late June. He allegedly reeked of booze and was slurring his words with a bottle of Jim Beam sitting next to next to him in the car, when a cop pulled him over.
