Somchanh Chanthapanya was cited after a sheriff’s deputy found a fawn during a security check at the Golden Hen restaurant in Winnsboro, Louisiana. They went to his home where he was butchering the fawn and he said he found the animal dead on the side of the highway. Possession of a spotted fawn is punishable by fines up to $750 and between 15-30 days in jail
